This week you’ll be creating your own healthy meal. Take a look at the food wheel:

This week your task will be to make your own clay! All you will need is a few simple ingredients:

1 glass of salt

1 glass of water

A little bit of oil

3 glasses of flour (add it little by little)

Paint or food colouring

Mixing bowl and spoon (or alternatively, just use your hands!)

This week we’ll focus on Ordnance Survey map symbols.

The symbols help us to understand what appears on the map and they give us a useful guide to what we can expect to see when we’re out and about exploring Britain. You don’t have to worry about learning each symbol (although it can be fun!) as all maps have a legend, or key, that explains each symbol.
